Durrow Castle | Sarah & Donal
It's not every wedding that the bride-to-be designs and creates her own dress, not to mention veil, accessories and cake! While Donal was getting ready and settling the nerves with the aid of Mr. Jameson, Sarah was tippling some brandy. When Sarah emerged in her wedding dress she looked stunning and the crowning glory was the all covering veil.
After the ceremony in Abbeyleix we had decided to go to the great old world pub, Morrissey's on the main street. Well worth a visit if you happen to be passing that way. With the bridal party in-tow we all had a few scoops and then hit the road back to Durrow. I had been down in the area previous to the wedding to look for locations on route to Durrow and came across a great back road and bog area which I think worked really well.
With most of the shots I wanted to get in the bag we headed for the venue. Before we joined the guests we did a quick lap of the gardens, tennis court and finished with the staircase. Job done we joined the guest on the lawn and before the call for dinner finished the family shots.
