The Armada Hotel | Stephen + Maria

The Armada Hotel on the west coast of Ireland was the venue for Maria and Stephens' celebrations. Spanish Point is a special place for me as this is where I first met my now wife, across the floor of a foam disco many moons ago!!!!

As with any spring wedding in Ireland the weather is always a concern and this day was no exception. We had a serious Atlantic gale to deal with and the guests, particularly the ladies had a challenge with both hair and dresses on the way in and out of the church. All in good spirits there is always a photo opportunity in these conditions.

I have to mention and congratulate the bridal party as they braved the winds and took a walk along the coast road. Again Maria & Stephen were both willing to work with the conditions and I think we managed to capture some great and moody images. We trucked on till the wind finally took is toll and headed for a pint in Johnny Burkes and things moved on nicely from there................
