Q. What preparations do you do before a couples wedding?
My philosophy when it comes to weddings is to abide by the three p’s - planning, preparation and...prosecco! The first two is where I come in; it’s my job to find out what will work best to capture your day. I always take the time to meet up with couples in advance, to listen and discuss what will help tell the story of your celebration. I always photograph locations and venues in advance. We are then able to storyboard the day together and agree on various different locations in advance of the wedding. This allows for a smoother flow to the day!
The third ‘p’ is where you come in. Planning a wedding can take a lot of work, so when your special day arrives you deserve to reap the rewards of all that organising, list making, double and triple checking. So it will be time to relax and tuck into the bubbly - it’s your wedding after all!
Q. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes I shoot weddings all over Ireland and abroad.
Q. Do you require a booking deposit?
I require a booking deposit of €500 which secures your wedding date. The balance is due on or before your wedding day.
Q. How do we pay the deposit/balance?
Most couples find bank transfers the easiest way but I also accept cheques or drafts.
Q. Are you insured?
Studio33weddings is!! I have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity cover.
Q. Is there a contract?
There should always be one under the terms of the photographer’s insurance as it’s a requirement, so absolutely.
Q. Do you work on your own or with a second shooter?
I'm the main shooter at all Studio 33 weddings! For all packages I offer a second shooter who will be able to cover different angles and locations so you get more coverage from your day. This is really worth considering!
Q. What time do you usually start at on the morning of the wedding?
As a general rule I will start 2 hours before the service is due to begin.
Q. How many photographs do we receive?
I spend a considerable amount of time selecting your images and creating the final collection. There will be a minimum of 500 images but I usually end up giving in the region of 800! All are hi resolution and watermark free. The images will be delivered via a password protected web platform where you can download in various sizes, create favorite lists, print, share and a few other great features.
Q. How long after the wedding will we have to wait to see the photographs?
Generally speaking I will have the images ready 6-8 weeks after the wedding. However this may take a little longer over the busier periods of the year.
Q. Can we order an album after our wedding?
Of course you can and just come back to me whenever you are ready and we'll get the ball rolling.
