Coolbawn Quay | Tricia & Maurice

Tricia and Maurice were in touch with me a good year before their wedding day which was to be held in the fabulous Coolbawn Quay. We also planned to do an engagement shoot in Marlay Park. As with many couples there is a certain understandable apprehension about the photography of their big day and how the process actually works.  

When you are hiring a photographer you are really investing in their experience and skill in making you feel at ease and comfortable, which in turn allows them to create great pictures of you both. I guess every photographer approaches this in a slightly different manner, but for me it is about gaining the couples trust and for the shoot to be enjoyable. I like to give couples the space and freedom to be themselves, with a minimum of direction. I have always found this to be key in getting those great shots.

It was a real privilege and pleasure working with both Tricia, Maurice and their families.
